Hondata is now offering a fuel system upgrade including injectors for the Type R.

Highlights:
375 HP and 424 lbs feet torque on pump gas (can be achieved without fuel system upgrade)
415 HP and 448 lbs feet torque 46% ethanol blend
477 and 438 lbs feet torque with upgraded turbo and high flow CAT
550 HP and 482 lbs feet torque with racing fuel and bolt-ons

I probably should have posted this on the Type R forum, but I have a feeling Type R owners will see this

If you are a Type R owner and possibly plan to do this, please please please post your results. Please!

Any idea on compatibility with a Civic Si?

I'm interested more in the hardware, the tune can be done by someone else to fit the car.
I wouldn't hold my breath regarding hardware compatibility, but you could contact Hondata to find out. Maybe you guys could petition Hondata to engineer a fuel system upgrade for the Si. Then you could hit up Two Step as well

So @TypeSiR what do you think? If you stay on pump gas you can attain 375 hp (they don't mention wheel or crank, but I'm assuming wheel) give or take, and if you go ethanol 46 percent you can attain 415 HP and 448 lbs torque! You would be officially a Hellcat Killa!

Hey, bud. I was busy generating a snazzy spreadsheet on that same subject when you pinged me. Check it out: https://www.civicx.com/forum/threads/hondata-fuel-system.48583/page-2#post-794603

TBH, it's (the new fuel system) wasted if someone just want to achieve 375 hp on pump gas. That power level is already achievable by adding flex fuel to the stock car (FK8). Where the new fuel system really shines is somewhere north of 400 hp with flex fuel and a bigger turbo. The buyer should shoot for 450 to 550 hp to get your money's worth. But is it okay to put 500 hp on a FWD?

I probably should have checked the main forums to see if this news was already posted. The most power I could get out of my Lexus and keep it reliable is 455 WHP after installing an RR Racing Supercharger Kit, DP, headers, exhaust and flex fuel ($8500 cost if I do it myself). So damn! But yeah, I don't know if putting 500 whp on a FWD platform that light is advisable without very sticky tires and careful driving!

Hmmmm, I would love to see if @Hondata would work something out with us Si owners. This would be a really good add on
