Also I got it to work via downloading hondat hack through the web on the car and everything seems rooted and the hondata app is on there but the car won’t let the flash pro connect via Bluetooth. And the car is a 17 not and 18 so Bluetooth should work

I have hondata mobile installed on my '18 EXT coupe headunit but I have the same problem as you with the bluetooth connection asking for a code on the headunit and then it just times out.

I have a 2018 rooted head unit. With hondata mobile app.apk downloaded to the head unit. The bluetooth is paired to the Flashpro but when I try to connect to the FP on the head unit or even on my Galaxy Note 8's mobile app it says connection failed.

Make sure your flashpro manager is updated to the new firmware which I think it’s 3.1.5 and your flashpro itself is 150. Also make sure you download the new hondata mobile app version 1.5. You’ll know if it’s the new version because in the flashpro tab it will have the option to click on alternate pairing for 18+ civics.

Just by the $15 app for iPhone/Android. I have both and don't even bother with the trash one on the infotainment anymore.

The Hondata app for the head unit is very old and outdated. I prefer to use android auto on the head unit for navigation and I just use the full feature Hondata app on my phone.
