Interesting point. The thread below is the one that has me worried about the clutch slipping, if I decide to tune it. I am not looking to upgrade the clutch, as I will probably be replacing the car in three years.

That thread has you worried? How many of the posts in the thread did you read? Did you notice the poll results? The bulk of the discussion is people stating they are not experiencing slip and the general consensus is the people who are..... are not great at handling a manual transmission. You can disable revhang as that may help, or you can remove the clutch delay valve, or you can do both. The stock SI clutch is holding +6 and +9 Hondata OTS tunes for many.

I skimmed through the thread and participated in the poll :)

I also saw information about this on http://blog.vittuned.com/introducing-the-2017-civic-si/ and a google search also brings up a lot of other threads. So, I'm sure you can understand as to why myself and others may be concerned, especially if one doesn't heavily modify their vehicle.

I am running Vit's 25 psi tune and it seems to hold fine so far. I do however only go WOT only in the lower gears or above 4000k rpm in the higher gears. I also removed the clutch delay valve if that makes any difference on slipping. I am generally fairly moderate in my driving style though.
