91 and occosianlly e85 if its possible
The power for 91 with a stock cat will be just a little less than our published dyno with high flow cat. A tune with E46 (or close) will be just little less than our published dyno chart. You can run E85, but will get better range and similar power to run an ethanol blend between 40 and 50%. Look out for a Youtube video (subscribe) on flex fuel tuning with the Hondata Fuel system.

I'd want to run straight E85 for less hassle. Pull up to the pump, fill up and go.

Iā€™m just curious to know if itā€™s even possible to put this much power down. Iā€™m stock and I have traction issues in 1st and 2nd gear. I realize itā€™s not a drag car, but with this much power, I would imagine 3rd gear will have problems too. Someone educate me!

The 448hp/409tq (reducing the inflated Dyno numbers by 6%, because let's be honest, you're not going to get 317hp with a stock tune base line on 91. 295-300hp is more like it, being generous) was done with the borgwarner 7163 turbo kit? How different would the results on 93 be? That's a little disconcerting seeing how $8,000 plus clutch, and full bolt ons would buy you 450hp. Even more money if you build up the block.

Interesting thought because most stock CTRs were pulling 295-301 on dynos.

Your base dyno is a little high. Stock CTR normally hits 290-300 to the wheels.

Heā€™s just going by the numbers on the dyno graph that was posted by @Hondata

I already know one of you is going to buy this fuel system kit and choose the 93 map, not many of us have access to flex fuel is why Iā€™m curious what the numbers are, with intake, inlet pipe, intercooler, turbo back exhaust without the cat on 93 pump gas.

I think something to consider too is TQ numbers, though just my opinion. Love the write up.

I wanted to do flex fuel kit but the nearest gas station that has corn is about 20-30 minutes away depending on traffic.

@TypeSiR , thanks for providing that chart. It just reinforces the idea that flex fuel is still the best bang per dollar for peak hp and tq. It would be nice if there was a single dyno graph that shows the tq curve comparisons between all the different options.

I know this is an Hondata thread, but since we are looking at HP/$ the absolute best bang for the buck is probably ktuner Stage 1.1 with an otherwise stock setup. Also, isn't DRob getting 370-380 whp with just an intercooler, highlow cat/downpipe and 93? I know every dyno is different, but if you are just looking for HP per dollar; ktuner + intercooler + downpipe is a pretty good deal. Having said that; I think I'm going to be switching to Hondata soon from ktuner as there are just too many things missing from ktuner right now.
