I agree !! Several members have installed it them selfs , or had Honda tech friends do it for a very reasonable price. I’m unfortunately not that lucky

Have you tried reaching out to any local FB car groups? Doesn't need to be a master Honda Tech. Anyone that wrenches on their own cars should be able to complete the job.

i haven’t ,my job is very busy right now , both of my 2 r’s are in storage. It’s no worries to sell it & possibly help someone else out. Let more research come out. If it doesn’t sell , I’m sure I’ll put it on one of my R’s at some affordable point!!

I sold the Delsol actually!! I own 2 civic type R’s , a 2008 s2000 & my brand new Army green 4Runner TRD pro I just purchased the other day.. I grow cannabis for a living too , so it’s nice being able buy what I want!! A civic type R cost exactly 20 pounds of cannabis , just Incase anyone was wondering. Of course I’m in a legal state. So no worries there. Any other questions? Yes I can afford to pay the 1500$ plus for install , but it’s not a correct financial decision!! I’m all about wasting money , but not throwing it in the garbage to be ripped off!! Point me to a shop that’s not 16 hours away & not a 1500$ install & im game all day!!

wisconsin , is about 14 hours away!! Again with my Job , I’m not really at a point to take off for 4-7 days to travel to have this done properly.. I’m preparing for a huge 100 pound cannabis Harvest , so my focus is on that.. just thought I’d help another member out who been trying to get one , but can’t because they are sold out.

Lol do you just not want to go through with it? You're in Memphis Tennessee bright....there's tons of shops there...Honda is the last place in the world you'd want to go to.

correct , I just don’t have the time to fool with it right now.. plus you try calling shops to see , most places freeze once you say Hondata fuel kit huh ? I’ve called 15 different listed vendors on Hondata vendor list & found 1 place 7 hours away called ikes Honda!! Others trust worthy places are out there , but further than I’m willing to travel. Look if no body scoops it up , it’s no harm , no foul!! It’ll sit & collect dust until I get around to it. But if someone is itching to jump on this, then let em have it !! I can always buy another kit later.
