I purchased a brand new Hondata fuel kit. But unfortunately getting this installed in my area is going to be very expensive, I’ve partnered with @Hondata on resolving this issue, but unfortunately there’s just not many options under 1500$ unless your willing to take this on in your garage. So I’ll sell my kit , until more write up become available or the price of install comes down.. sale price is same as Hondatas website 2890$ is what I payed shipped & I’ll sell it for the same. Of course these are sold out with no ETA , so here’s your 1 chance !! Good luck

How many hours labor are they charging you for the install? It’s not that looks of an install the one pump is kinda a pain in the @ss but it’s not that extensive?

ikes Honda “ the only Honda dealership that will install this kit “quoted 11.2 hours at a little over 1500.00$ not including flashpro.. Hondata states it’s a 4-5 hour install..so you can see my frustration

Call a custom shop, every dealer but one within an hour drive of me over charges and won’t touch aftermarket parts. Custom tuning shop would do full bolt ons, cooling and kit e85 and all for 20 hours. Make the drive to your nearest reputable shop.

The shop that agreed to $1500 also tell you that you will void your warranty to pour salt in the open wound too? I hate salty dealerships.

ive been there and done that too.. I’m looking at about a 16 hour drive , plus hotel.. trust me I’ve looked at every option. That won’t break the bank , Infact I’ve been on the phone with Doug from hondata & Jeff from ikes Honda. Unless you have someone close , or are good buddies with a master oem Honda tech or you can perform this. It’s just feasible for me & where I’m located. So I’d rather pass this off to someone who can get right to work installing & enjoying it..

Gotcha, it’s well worth it if you can figure it out: otherwise GL with sale.
thanks man I appreciate that.. trust me I’d much rather have it installed & tuned. But the added cost & hoops I’ll have to jump through doesn’t make it worth it for me right now. But it does lend a opportunity for another member.

You should blur out the software key.

How handy are you? This is something that can be done by yourself with some basic hand tools.

I dunno I think you need the kit to activate it.. I don’t “need” to sell it , I can just sit on it. But why not allow another member to use it now , if they are handy enough to install & enjoy!!

Just in general, any keys/serial numbers should never be posted in public. This is just the safety for the future owner of this kit.

absolutely, I just deleted the images, but it is tied to the pump & sofware , I don’t believe you can just use anyone’s code.. maybe Hondata can chime inn & tell us. But for now the images are removed

Yeah, at $3k for the kit plus the quoted $1500 install, you'd only be like $1000-$1500 off from being able to buy a Motec unit!

most definitely!! It’s frustrating, just not a job , I’m willing to take on in my garage & i unfortunately don’t know any master Honda techs. But it has been done & supposedly really wakes this car up.
