i'm getting real fed up with owning this POS. Honda should honestly be ashamed of how poorly this things been designed. oil dilution, ac's designed to break, now this s***

Quit crying or sell your car and move on. Every manufacture has a certain rate of failure and fixes that need to be applied across all platforms. Plus they fix it for free under warranty so what's the problem?

This particular issue only applies to the Type-r and not any other civic chassis.

Applies to the Civic Hatchback as well. There was a similar recall for many Toyota vehicles as well not too long ago.

Correct. Those made between June 2018 and 2019 are part of this recall.

The faulty fuel pumps were used in multiple models from various brands including Ford, Honda, Mazda, Subaru, Toyota, and Mitsubishi.

It's very interesting to me just how many of the parts that seem like they should be exactly the same are not between the hatchbacks built in the UK and the other Civics built in Canada.

Its entirely possible that the fuel pumps in the hatchbacks and non-hatchbacks are completely interchangeable and have identical specifications, but are made by two different suppliers or by the same supplier in two different factories where only one was affected.

I checked the honda site and saw nothing about it, but maybe they haven't updated that yet

Most likely a letter from your dealer to come in, or just call them.

Look at the date printed on the label inside the driver's door frame. If it's 06/18 to 01/29, yours will probably be recalled.
