A CR-Z with the FC1 powerplant would be sweet. But then again, that's what the new Civic coupe is in essence. Not sure if the CR-Z is lighter but I'd imagine if it was that it would be pretty fast off the line and perhaps more agile too.

I think one of the drawbacks to the CR-Z was gas mileage in the mid-30s for a hybrid power train with poor power. It's a shame they're killing it off instead of dropping in the 1.5L turbo. That would be an awesome ride!
I had a,2012 Honda insight for a bit...Witch was basically the 4 door CR-z ..it was lacking power big time and the mps was not what it claimed..no wonder ther letting the CR-z go ..I had that thing pretty hooked up tho..lowered with 18 wheels ..it looked mean at least lol

Can't argue with the lack of power, its still a fun car to drive. Its not fast, but peppy HP doesnt alwayd equal fun. I do think they should have made a si version of it and not the HPD and charge an arm and leg for it.

My wife thought it was cute (which was the first step towards purchasing), but then I read how it is a bit of a letdown compared to the '90s CRX, which I really liked.

I think dropping in the Turbo would have brought back that CRX vibe.

Yeah drop the 1.5T from the civic in it. I think the 174hp would make it better.

This car would have sold much better with a small bump in power. The turbo 1.5 would have filled the void between power and efficiency.
