Was just at the Toyota dealer getting info on the TRD Pro models from a product specialist (who turned out to be a bigger car nerd than me). A few interesting takeaways:I just saw on the news that 85% of all new cars Sold in the US last month sold over MSRP
Coworker just bought (ordered) a new 4 Runner TRD Pro at MSRP. There was ADM on any Pro that had available but MSRP on any order. Was just at the Toyota dealer getting info on the TRD Pro models from a product specialist (who turned out to be a bigger car nerd than me). A few interesting takeaways:
1) Based on all their current Tacoma TRD trim orders, the manual orders > auto orders right now! Said alot of people like me are worried the manual + NA trucks will disappear after what they've done with the sequoia and tundra.
2) NO MARKUP on ANY model, including TRD Pros.
So I remain skeptical about that panic buy nonsense. Beyond the difficulty in buying under msrp, the only thing different from the before times is about a 6 month wait after putting in your factory order. But doesn't bother me, I prefer factory orders over buying off the lot cars anyway and not desperate for quick delivery.
Nice! Exactly, they told me no ADM as soon as we shook hands. I think my dealer wasn't even marking up like-new used inventory too.Coworker just bought (ordered) a new 4 Runner TRD Pro at MSRP. There was ADM on any Pro that had available but MSRP on any order.
Get two then, that's a bargain! LOLHonda of New Rochelle wants $75k for a type R LE.
I live a couple miles from hagerstown Honda. Nobody here is going to buy their LE at that price. And if you use them for service I’m the reason they no longer will change type r tires ?. They tried, failed, and bought 2 brand new wheelsJust made a drive up to Honda Bridgewater in NJ yesterday to check out the LE. Apparently when the sales rep states that the car is MSRP + Taxes on the phone, they don't include the $50,000 "market adjustment fee" that is plastered on the window.
Also stopped by Hagerstown Honda in MD. We asked about their $20k markup and the guy straight-up said "I dunno, we're hoping some dumb sap will buy it". Compared to the bs at Bridgewater, I appreciated the brutal honesty lol
you know....PT Cruiser ranks up there as wellDeath by Aztek...the ultimate price paid
11,000 HAAARRRRDDDD Miles on this bad boy!
Dealer near me. Used w/ 55 mile LE, want 62k. Bommarito South County, STL Missouri. The sad thing is, they've left it outside through all the snow and weather we've been getting all winter, rather than keeping it inside. They clearly know it's an LE from the markup. Sure it's not getting salt from the roads, but unfortunate still.
