Modeler's resin model kit Honda Civic Type R (2017)

Since I build models, I try to get a kit of vehicles I've owned, and also what my dad owned. This is a source in Japan, not your average hobby shop. Thinking of how much work it would be to turn into a Coupe.

- 1/24 scale multi-material model kit reproduced with ease of assembly and moderate parts score.
- About 50 resin parts, etching parts, window frame printed clear film, mirror sheet, decal etc ...
- If you have a tool for the model you can assemble it.
- Sale began in September 2017 and the 10th generation Civic Type R which was also described as `the strongest hot hatch` will appear!
※ This product is not a finished product. The image is taken of the assembled state of the kit.

- Material: Resin · Etching Parts · Clear Film · Decal etc.

I was in Tokyo a couple weeks ago and looked all over hobby shops for one of these. I'm waiting on Tomiya to release their version of it

I'm glad someone posted a thread about this. I have 90s Chevy ss 454 model truck kitthat's was made in 91. What is a good, but reasonably priced spray gun to paint with?

Go to Hobby Lobby with the 40% off coupon and get a Iwata Neo air brush, good for getting started.

And to add to this, Big T is working on a 1/12 scale car, but hush, hush right now. Hoping it's a CTR.

Glad to see another fellow modeler. If you watch Paul Budziks YouTube video on airbrushes vs HVLP spray guns. You'll be hard pressed to get a high gloss finish with an airbrush because there is much air disturbing the paint. You would probably get the best finish with a Tamiya spray can. Even then you would still need to use wetsanding and polishing compound to make the gloss truly look scale. the other option is zero 2k but isocynates scare me enough so I don't use it.

As an aside, Honda also sells an official OEM diecast FK8 model in 1:48 scale.

Good to see someone else interested!
I've used a Paashe H airbrush for about 40 years, never have tried a touch-up spray gun, but some modelers use them. It really depends on the paint too. Will be trying Splash paint, got some for two models recently. I'm not a fan of super shiny paint jobs, leave it to the custom/hot rod/low rider builders.
That 1/48 scale die cast is a strange scale for cars, I've done military that scale decades ago.
My Sintegra is about as shiny as I get.

Glossy finishes can be obtained with the right paint, the proper thinner and low humidity. I also like the Tamiya spray bombs, they work really well. I have been meaning to get some of the Splash paints to see how they are. I met the youngster behind that brand at the IPMS Nationals in Phoenix.
