Honda Civic Hatchback prototype to debut at Geneva!

Word. Ok makes some sense. Are you going to have a choice in color? I'm going for Blue if they have it... if not I'll evaluate the other choices.

I will have a choice because ill ask my the inventory manager to make Gray our first choice for what we get. Our dealership is very weird we sell 300+ cars a month and have 20 sales people. We ask and Honda sends. Every Civic Touring and Pilot Elite(over the last 5 months) has been pre sold before it even got here.

That's awesome volume! I have been buying at Jones Honda, but I have access to Rahal as well. I'd prefer to go with my guy at Jones but realistically I'll go wherever I can go to get a Blue one - and I want it directly off the truck!!!

The only issue I see with the Blue. Honda loves Red interior expecially in Type Rs and Si (look at the logos lol). With that new blue is may look good but Im a sucker for White, Gray, and Black with Red interior

Word. And Honda does it right. Worked on a Sentra SER SpecV and the interior was gross.
It will be great in blue. My current Si is blue as was my 99, so I'm just sticking with tradition!

Civic Hatchback Prototype

The Civic Hatchback Prototype receives its global premiere at Geneva Motor Show, previewing the exterior design of the all-new hatchback model, scheduled for a European launch in early 2017. Produced at Honda of the UK Manufacturing (HUM), the car will be exported to global markets, including the US.

Of course that's European launch, so it doesn't necessarily apply to us, so we continue to wait and see.

Ah ok. So no sedan/coupe in Europe, but in US we'll be lucky enough finally to get coupe, sedan, and hatch! That's awesome. I wonder if we'd see the tourer or any of those other models.

The 8th gen can get away with virtually any color because they used mainly accent red on the stitching, etc, but the full blown inserts on the 9th gen would give me pause. The real adventurer is Jason with his orange Si with red interior

Ok I'm not trying to say they're the same car or anything, by any means, but I do see some similarities. The angle of the rear glass seems similar - perhaps more vertical on the Civic. The passenger compartment appears to grow out of the wider 'shoulders' of the underlying car. I'm so excited for the reveal!
