I agree. I've never understood buying a new car and then quickly thinking about swapping out the motor and/or transmission. I mean, it sounds good on paper but the cost/install aggravation factors are not worth it.This could have been a much shorter thread had the first response simply had been "NO."
The way I look at it is if you have to ask this kind of question, you're not doing it.I agree. IMO, if someone has buyers remorse, instead of sinking many, many thousands into trying to make a car something it's not, trade it for something you'd like better. Or better yet, buy a better car in the first place.
Having said that, here's a good, basic plan for the OP's car...
1. Get a KTuner
2. Get better tires
3. Add some cosmetic mods
I was looking at this for guidance toward upgrading my 17 ext 1.5T. Could I pull off throwing a k20c4 or even k20c1 in there? It is a CVT as well..go with the accord 2.0 w/auto, just find a wrecked one, should be dirt cheap.
Sell your car, buy one with the engine you want. There's literally no point.I was looking at this for guidance toward upgrading my 17 ext 1.5T. Could I pull off throwing a k20c4 or even k20c1 in there? It is a CVT as well..
