So uh. is there like a template or something to apply these on? Knowing my luck, i'll just put them on crooked and have it eat at me forever.

Also, how do I remove the old one? hairdryer and dental floss?

I used masking tape to outline the old emblem. Removed it using a hairdryer and fingers; a little goo gone for the tape residue. I placed the new emblem within the masking tape.

I have the dark chrome CIVIC badge on my ABM and love it. I, too, don't understand why they'd choose one color for one emblem and another for a different one on the same panel. What the heck, Honda.
@toddrhodes Would you mind posting a picture of those chrome black emblems on your ABM?

Do they make black chrome red Honda emblems too?

Until they do that, I think I'm OK with the badge Civic being chrome.
