I know some people delete their chrome CIVIC emblem because it doesn’t match the Type R emblem. Has anybody instead used a Honda Acss black chrome emblem instead? Honda P/N 08F20-TGG-000 for the emblem set, but you can buy the individual emblem from Heel Toe Auto.

Thanks for the link!!....
wow- think I’ll just paint mine. That’s a rediculous price for what you get!!
and it'll probably one of the easiest things to steal off a car (after... tire valve caps... probably)

$5 plastidip....I did my Sport Touring badges last weekend. I used maybe $1.25 worth of the stuff.

Which plastic dip black paint you use? They have so many brand.
Performix Plasti-Dip Black $5.82 on Amazon. Matte Black...no gloss coat.

No offense meant, but plasti-dip is a great way to cheapen a great car.
I can see that if someone gets dumb with it. I have already had people locally asking about it. It is just an appearance thing. No one would know it is plasti dip from a distance. I much prefer spending a dollar or 2 vs. $100 or more for a new set of black emblems. And if I want to go back to chrome, I can just peel it off which is nice. For the cost difference I can do a decent mod or 2.
I do get it though...it isn't for everyone. But cheapen the car? No...

It does for me, at least.

But to each his own, right?
