This is sad to see but some people arent into spending a dumb amount of money on a car, and that’s ok. If you dont call your car a race car fbo is the farthest you should go if that even.

Diff never went in, sold it BNIB.

I would guess your options are a bearing puller, a press, or using a cutoff wheel and chisel to destructively remove it.

Well everyone, a mixed emotion update. After 6 months I have my car back home, 95% returned to stock running a 2019 L15BA motor. I ultimately decided the cost and time commitment of building a fully clapped out hatch wasn't worth it to me, especially given the fragility of the transmission past ~330whp. The 1.5T wasn't the hill I wanted to die on. Not sure what my next move is, but right now I am happy to have a car and my part out continues. I drive a stock 2018 hatch for the time being.

Shame to hear you've had to quit the project. Was keeping up pretty closely and learned a bit from reading your posts! Absolutely love what all you've done with your hatchback.

What foglights are those that you have? Wanting to get LED foglights but wasn't sure if I needed a new housing or what.

They are just generic H11/H8/H9 LED bulbs from Amazon. Fully plug and play with the factory wires and housing.

Thank you, so was I. To this day I still wouldn't be able to provide a timeline guess as to when this would have been finished. For my own peace of mind I just had to make a decision, it was mentally wearing me out to be honest.

Oh I can imagine. I know it isn't easy to get all that done, not to mention the time and money. After a while it feels like a sinking pit with no noticeable benefit... And alright, thanks! I shall give these a try.

Billet oil pump gears from Boundary pump division just arrived. Maybe it's just me but I love seeing spec sheets and QA/QC reports with parts.

I probably missed out but have you sold this boundary pump division and the arp head studs?

I'll check with my builder. I believe the studs are gone but the pump gear and internals may still be there
