I get adding a valved option.....but what's the point of redoing the entire design? Doesn't look titanium either so maybe to provide a cheaper option?

Can't just slap on a larger tip. The diameter of the outlet on the left is way smaller.

The carbon tips are meant to fit snugly over the metal outlets (you can see the metal tip inside the carbon covers). Plus the smaller one is already almost touching the middle big one.
