Anyone running these? I thought about getting some D2 coilovers, but with the reviews I'm seeing its a negative for me. Looks like HKS has SEC(suspension error canceler), but could be use with other coilovers also.

The hks coilovers look really nice, if you have the money I'm sure they are legit. I was looking into them but can't afford.

What camber plates did you use? I was looking at SPC and they had a rear and a front, but I don't know if I should be getting a negative or the positive for the front camber by SPC?

i use the spc adjustable rear camber arms in the rear and the spc adjustable ball joints in the front. links below.

rear: http://stores.axionind.com/2016-honda-civic-spc-rear-camber-arms-pair/
front: http://stores.axionind.com/spc-adjustable-lower-ball-joint-1-0-2016-2020-honda-civic-sport-si/ (you need 2)

or i have a post here where i contacted HKS about actually buying camber plates for the coilovers themselves. quite expensive. https://www.civicx.com/forum/threads/hks-camber-plates.38368/

Just curious, but how come you didn't choose the positive camber version for the front camber?

hks coilovers dont come with a camber plates. therefore the only thing you can do is remove the alignment pin which nets you maybe another .5 degrees of negative camber. i run 255s right now and will probably run 265s on my next set of tires so the added camber will help keep the tire from rubbing.

as the car sits now with 18x9.5 +40 and 255/35s it's flush without going past the fender. it gets a bit of rub on hard bumps and highway dips. with the added negative camber i shouldnt get any rubbing.

Okay so far, parts that are coming in are the SPC ball joint the positive adjustment range though. I didn't get the negative adjustment range, because lowering causes negative camber already, which you would need to fix by getting a the positive adjustment range ball joint from SPC. Then I got the rear from SPC also.

you dont need to add positive camber as the front suspension wont camber in enough to justify it like the rear does. depending on how you want your alignment done you really dont need to do anything to the front. it just depends on what tire you want to run and what you what the handling characteristics of your car to feel like.

the below pic is 1 finger above the tire with just the alignment pin pulled. no positive camber or negative camber really needed. it sits within OEM spec. im adding negative camber so i can fit a bigger tire.
