I hit a curb today. Is this serious, should I get a new one asap?

My non expert opinion is that the tire is safe to drive on.

Tire is safe, and the rash isn't too bad. look for a wheel repair place near you. Shouldn't be too much $.

Impacts like this, to the side wall of the tire tend to weaken it. It can cause the tire to prematurely fail. Honestly, if it were me, and my car, I'd replace it as a precaution. a 200$ tire is better than the danger it poses if it fails.

I have had a tire fail at 75mph. Split on the sidewall where the sidewall and tread meet. I almost lost control and wrecked... It was instant loss of control. I don't fuck with questionable tires anymore... And that one is questionable at best. Replace it.
