Hello,

I've had my eye on a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires- their warranty states 30,000 miles- can they really last that much longer than the 10k mile stock tires?

Thanks for any insight.

I'm curious about this too - bump! If anyone has done this, especially on the stock 20" rims, please chime in with your experience. Thanks!

I had Pilot Super Sports and they died of old age (5 years). Just about 9,000 miles per 1/32" of tread. The PS4S are supposed to be better.

The PSS and PS4S (and PS AS3+) have some Michelin technology that makes this possible, at least that's what their marketing says ..

Nice thing about the 30k warranty is that if you rotate regularly and keep record of it, you can get a pro-rated replacement if they don't last that long.
