High K.Con after turbo install (Datalog)

Hey, so I just installed an Si turbo after blowing my W1 and flashed Phearable 1.5. Knock control doesn't really move doing spirted pulls but at WOT something is definitely wrong. On the log I was using 91 octane but knock control had the same problem on 95 octane. Other than knock control and lean fuel trims (K&N intake) the car seems to be running fine. Would anyone have an idea what could cause this?

OK. A couple things.

1. It's a 40 second datalog. I can't tell you anything about your fuel trims because of how short the log is.

2. You had a pretty dramatic boost overshoot at the 5 second mark. Your knock control had been .55 but skyrocketed to 1.01 by the 8 second mark. I'm guessing part of that was the ECU protecting your engine. You may also have gotten a bad batch of gas. I'm not sure. And of course 91 on the Phearable 1.5 won't give you great knock control to start with.

Overshoots happen from time to time. But this might be an ongoing problem because you changed turbos.

Are you running a non si ots tune on a ex-t with an si turbo swap?

Thanks for the reply! I just did another longer log with phearable that I will post. It has some lighter pulls and another WOT that kinda got ended early because I heard a noise that came from road or car that scared the shit out of me. I flashed stock tune and ktuner basemap earlier and did not have a problem with knock control. I wonder if overboosting could be from the Si turbo having 9 exhaust blades instead of 11 creating less backpressure.

You should EDIT: NEED TO GET a custom tune. That ots tune is not meant for si turbo which moves more air than ext stock turbo

You should get a custom tune. That ots tune is not meant for si turbo which moves more air than ext stock turbo
Yea maybe so. I thought the difference would be negligible.

Maybe consider adding the Si TIP as well and go custom.
