Got this several months back (from China...took ~1 month) and as my Midwestern brethren can attest, the weather finally broke here allowing me to install it. Woot.

It's pretty much as advertised from the ebay listing. BTW, that red civic is sharp, eh? Kinda makes me wonder if I got the wrong color. ?

Anyway, I had a crappy fake carbon flexi lip on before. The new lip is painted gloss black, which will be a nightmare to keep clean (just like the rest of the sport hatch ground effects) and it came with plenty of high quality screws for installation. No 3m tape required. Install took 1 hour, but only because I was anal about getting it perfectly centered and straight. Pro tip: Screw the screws in to make holes in the underside of the car, then back them out, then re-screw. This will get the new lip nice and tight against the stock lip.

I'm a fan of this lip mainly because it doesn't have the shark fins on the sides. So this is a bit more subtle.

Very nice. Much better than the giant underbite that most people go for.

I got a similar HFP style and I even converted to the SI front lip. I was so tired of scraping so much. I want to lower my car and can’t do that in good confidence with how much I scrape my front end. Less aggressive look for sure, but the lower profile have kept me from scraping.

So that just bolted on right on top of everything already there? I've actually had that in a possibility list for myself but I'm always unsure of quality. Does the gloss black it came match up well with the OEM parts?

Yup, it bolts right up. Or I should say, it screws into your existing Sport bumper cover. For 50 bucks, quality is surprisingly good. The gloss black seems to have tiny specs of metallic flake, which the Civic ground effects don't have, but the difference is not really noticeable. All the black bits are covered in road dust after a few miles anyway. :(

I say go for it. I love the new aggressive look.

I got the 1 piece version of it installed yesterday, from eBay as well. The one piece is a little more expensive, but I didn’t want to have seams. I used 3m squares to be able to put it on perfectly centered and then screw it in. Took maybe 30 mins. Veryyyy subtle but I think with these cars, less can be more

How thick is the lip and on the 3 peice when you look from the front do you see like a bump from the screw..i ordered one and it looks like its thin and the bump from the place to piece together the pieces is seen from the front..when i test fitted it kinda points upwards a bit coz the bottom on the oem lip is kinda rounded in front then when i push it all the way back untill the small plastic lip(the piece im holding sorry dont know what it called) the lip wont show anymore.

I don't have a 3 piece, mine was just 2. It was several inches thick (maybe 4-5", see my 2nd pic at the top) so I mounted mine tight up against that lip you are touching in your 2nd pic and there was still plenty sticking out in front of the bumper as you can see in my original pics.

Can you take more pics of your lip? That first pic is wonky. Why is it bent?

Thanks for the thread, really helpful.

Has anyone ever seen a replacement for the HB Sport front splitter that is more aggressive and protrudes out from under like these do, but without adding another piece? Like OP I'm also looking for one without the shark fins. I like to keep the line from the front splitter down the side. I've been down in this rabbit hole for a couple of weeks and haven't found one.

If it doesn't exist, I'm going for that one piece. I want a lip splitter to match my duck spoiler in the back for visual balance.

Doesn't look bad, but noticeably thinner than the real thing.

Here's that same lip I installed a couple of months ago. Really subtle and doesn't give the car an underbite. No signs of warping or cracking since I installed it. Added some 3m tape, just because. Only thing I don't like about it is how the sides just abruptly end in a sharp angle. All in all, not bad for $80-90.
