Hello. New to the forum. I bought a 2017 hatchback sport touring in sonic grey. Love it. Decided to get it after I saw my dads sport hatchback in ageian blue.

Do have one question though. Does anyone else feel the fuel injectors are kinda loud in the1.5 turbo?

Btw ur car is beautiful.. Love sonic grey once i saw it inperson..

However... What noise are you hearing? Many cars and mods and ive never heard a fuel injector noise.. So not sure what ur asking..

Hmm. I'm going to have to go to my dads tomorrow and ruin both cases to make sure they sound the same. This is my first 4cyl and my first turbo so I hope it isn't make a weird noise. Btw I barely hear it from the cabin. Mainly hear it with the hood open

Could be. Just listened to a few other1.5 turbo on YouTube and they all sound the same. Whatever noise it is I wasn't expecting it lol. All my v6 Honda engines have never maded that noise.

Welcome. Sonic Grey looks really good under the right conditions.

A common observation with cars that feature direct injection is a relatively loud ticking sound. Probably what you're noticing.

Could be. Just listened to a few other1.5 turbo on YouTube and they all sound the same. Whatever noise it is I wasn't expecting it lol. All my v6 Honda engines have never maded that noise.

It's the injectors, has to do with the pressure needed for the direct injection. 100% normal. It sounds very similar to valve chatter. There's discussions about it somewhere around here but I'm feeling lazy.
