It might be interesting to try an aggressively tweaked KTuner Starter 21 again and see how it feels with this improved knock control setup.

It will still lack the 4000+ rpm pull that tsp/phearable offer, but with you being the official community reporter, please give it a go

I wrote so in the other thread, it will be a 1-click top end power gain for starter maps , may not increase max whp by a lot (maybe 3-5whp) but could add up to 10whp by 6000rpm. Overall, great value for a 1-clicker

What does "being careful" require in this context? Any increase in knock control above 5300 rpm is now considered "real" knock I guess? Is there any precautions other than higher quality fuel?

Yes, leave it to tuner, a pro tuner.

I have seen someone from Indonesia who switched his tuner with another one, who new in this CivicX and just finished learning how to tune it, rather than choosing a profesional who have become a tuner for years with licensed from UK and has tuned many CivicX.

Why? Maybe because of cheap? hahaha..

So, since day one we base turbo guys have been dealing with the knock control jumping up at high rpm no matter how good our gas quality is. And personally I've been jealous seeing Si guy after Si guy talking about how their knock control hardly budges on good gas.

Then back in late October Hondata rolls out a feature that removes this artificial built in rise in the non-Si's. On paper, it sound likes one helluva feature. I read in D-Rob's blog that he views this as a Hondata advantage.

Anyway, the two questions for us KTuner users/fans.

1. Any plans for us getting this feature soon?

2. Are there negatives to using this feature?

Just released the update and now the artificial knock control is available under quick enables however Its not available for custom tunes, I just open a Ktuner base tune and the artificial knock control feature is there in quick enables however when I open my custom tune it's not there

See my reply earlier in this conversation as to why you don't see it on a custom tune.

Correct. Many tuners have corrected for the knock control rise in their tunes. If it's a locked file, it's locked.

Depends what mods.
If you get Catless Downpipe, it will increase turbo boost automatically and you need to deativate the O2 sensor or you will get CEL on.
