Ok, I will try to keep this simple, it's a 2018 hatch,....ktuned with phearable and honda hack. I Installed a single 12" with a modest 1500 watt amp. I used a l.o.c. as to keep the stock head unit. Also upgraded all four doors with better speakers which are NOT connected to the amp. Everything was perfect, sounding great,...that is until today, ... I got in my car and noticed there was no sound,...ultimately, I could not even hear the beep when hitting buttons....went to work,...got out of work....and surprise, there's sound again. So thinking it was just an anomaly, I turned up and boomed on.....suddenly...silence,...nothing...any ideas?

What foot were you standing on when you opened the door?

🤣 JK, mate. Sounds like a loose connection somewhere, possibly at the L.O.C.

I had a similar issue with the sound going out when I upgraded my speakers. I had adapters that accidentally contacted the metal on the door and caused there to be no sound. I ended up wrapping the adapter wires in foam and cloth tape and everything is working again.

So check your connections, something probably came loose from where it was and touched metal.
