So not sure what I’m doing so please have patience with me lol. I have 2016 1.5 CVT with Hondata’s +6psi. My tires love to lose traction, so I’ve been doing some research on Hondata’s traction control. How easy is this for someone to turn on that doesn’t know what their doing? And I’ve read a lot of pros about having it on but are there any cons?
thanks!

There is a con. Basically the system works by retarding timing when you lose traction. Over time this can damage your catalytic converter if it kicks in too often.

I suggest picking up some grippier tires and taking it from there. Using BBG in "1st" will help as well.

I have a similar system available with KTuner but don't use it. BBG and being gentle off the line with the throttle works for my driving style.

Hmm I don’t want to damage anything. That could be a deal breaker

This should not cause any damage as the time frame it is working is very small and will not be an issue.

Yea I read Hondata said it’s safe for a stock car. However I’m not sure what I need to have it set to? My buddy just enabled it on his civic and is using default as 3%.
He also has fp and dp.
Thinking of putting it on. Would 3% be a good starting point you think? I have Michelin premiers all seasons on

Just enabling it with the stock settings should be safe and work well.

So I’m getting ready to put it on. And got a question. what’s the difference between these three, first two are in the modifications, the other one (which I didn’t get a picture of) is the picking which % you want

2nd one allow you for a harder launch, allow wheel to spin and engine would not bog down.
