I twisted it every way possible and routed the hoses different ways. No matter what every time I laid a piece of tape on the hose and closed the hood it was hitting.

I didn't try bending the metal pipe but I'm not sure I'm willing to do that.

Mount the nozzle with the flange first, under the metal hose and you can keep it straight.

Mine was like yours, no matter how much I rotated the flange it would rub the hood. Hence why there is white paint on there to test if kept rubbing or not.

So.. I mounted it onto the inlet pipe, then mounted the plastic flange one straight up 12 to 6, not rotated, then the metal lines sat above it (you can still see the scratches from when I tried rotating), then mounted to the airbox..

^^^^^EDIT^^^^^ Pretty much what I said on page 1.. lol :D

Going to be installing this on mine soon. Could you not trim some of the hose away and shorten it to give it a more straight attachment?

I also feel that PRL can shorten the silicon port for the EVAP purge by a 1/4-1/2 inch and It'll immensely help with clearance issues.
This is what I ended up doing. Fits a lot better now.

Installed, not 100% happy but no contact with the hood. Going to find a diff hose so the side one does have as much stress on it.

Also, attached how much I had to cut off.

Can someone point me to the OEM part number for this rubber hose? I have the same problem and the hose has some significant damage. Attaching a photo for reference.

FYI PRL has a new piece available for $30 that solves this problem. Gotta contact them directly for it though. Comes with PRL HVIs by default now.

Cool! Could you share a link if possible? I see something similar in their lineup, but that's a kit priced at 90 bucks.
