Would anyone know if some 18x9.5 +38 wheels would fit with some 245/40 tires. and if yes could I bump it up to a 18x10 +38 wheel? with the same tires.
Thank you for your time!
Edit: with d2 springs

A 10 width for the 245 tires would be way too stretched as you can use it with a 9.5 width with stretch as well on the sidewall.

The 10 width with a +38mm offset would definitely be poking out.

so I shouldn't go with the 10's? i saw a picture of 9.5's and I was thinking it could be a little further out but maybe that's just me.

9.5 width with a 38mm offset would be the best and pair it with either a 255 or 265 wide tires and a 35 profile.

If you hadn't dropped the car on D2, i would think you might be able to pull the 18*10 off easily. Even with 18*9.5 on 265/35 tires can be achieved on stock springs. I'm currently on 18*9.5 +35 with stock tires 235/40 and an approximately 1.5in drop. Have you done an alignment to your car to see what are the numbers on toe and camber?
