hey guys long story short me and my brother bo th have fk8, he bought his used and has a 4piston head, recently he got the P2279: Intake Air System Leak and also p2261: Unkown Error Code which i think is the bypass. i wanted to compare his vacumm hoses etc to my fk8 but because of the different head it seems they are routed different and also see a couple of them with dead end caps. wante to see if anybody that has 4piston head could maybe show a picture how those hoses are setup etc. since with thise codes he has nothing more than a converted civic sport🤣 he's dying inside

What causes the P2261 code?
  • Intake manifold vacuum leak
  • Dirty air cleaner
  • Wastegate that is stuck open
  • Wastegate that is stuck closed
  • Faulty intercooler
  • Bolts between the turbocharger and exhaust manifold that are loose
  • Faulty boost sensor
  • Boost sensor wiring that is shorted or open
  • Boost sensor reference circuit connectors that are loose, disconnected, or corroded
  • Turbo failure caused by internal oil leaks and/or oil supply restrictions

Might be a good idea to buy a vacuum tester and plug it into the hoses.

There is zero difference in how a 4 Piston head is installed. The head is 100% identical to OEM. It IS an OEM head.

We just port the head....everything we do is inside. I'd double check the install and get those accessories mounted the way they are supposed to be.
