Hi all,
TLDR: Need help replacing my front bumper, where should I look?!
Backstory: So a couple of months ago I was driving on the freeway on my way to work at 330AM (owned a bakery at the time). I was rushing and late to train a new hire, so I hardly paid any attention to the mostly empty road. About halfway to work, a basketball sized something or other appeared on the road as if it had flown off of or from underneath a truck that was a couple of lengths ahead of me. I was moving too fast to try and avoid it, so I just kept going, heard a bang, and assumed my car would survive since no lights turned on and it continued to drive normally (thank god).
Got to work, took a look and found my front bumper got wreckt (see photos). So now I’m in the market for a new bumper!
Further backstory: About a week after I purchased the car, I saw that there seemed to be a broken/dysfunctional bumper mount clip, causing the bumper to show a small gap between the bumper and hood. It was a minor annoyance and I never really looked into it.
I’ve also been purchasing parts for my car for awhile now that I haven’t installed (thank god). These include:
JDM Clear Side Markers
Morimoto Yellow LED Fog Light Kit
Mustang Style Front Turn Signals w/ Fog Light Holes (don’t hate, I’m into it)
Was also thinking to purchase:
Ikon GT Style Grille w/ Eyebrows & Lip: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/391717484595
Advance Tuning MUG Style Side Skirts: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/302621232083
The point: I’ve got no idea where to get a replacement bumper. Are there any OEM Quality replacements from Aftermarket sellers ? Or should I just ask my dealership and have them give me the part so I can have it painted/installed elsewhere with all my other parts? (I have no DIY/car experience, plus very limited time to work on the car myself, so I’d plan on paying for all the installation/work that needs to be done)
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks for reading~
