Help! Rapid beeping when the vehicle is off.

I've seen some posts about rapid beeping when the vehicle is off and they are walking away but I have a friend experiencing rapid beeping when entering the vehicle and walking away but the vehicle is off. We still have to try changing the battery in the key fob to see if it changes anything but if that does not work, does anyone have other suggestions to fix the issue? There are no lights on the dash or messages popping up for the key fob or keyless entry errors.

if you walk away from the car too fast the auto lock feature wont lock the doors for you, that is what the rapid beeping is alerting to you. try standing next to your door for a solid second or two after closing the doors and you shouldn't experience this.
