Help me with what to do with Varis hood

I think it would look good either way. Squared off is very clean but the taper might echo the lines of the hood in an even stronger way. In any case, I don’t think it would look worse than the Varis hood.

Also, wow that hood vent is way bigger than it appears in the Varis photo when you shoot it from a different angle! Can you confirm the hood comes with inserts to protect from precipitation?

Yup I leave it in the trunk. Takes 1 minute to put on. Just 5 screws.

Thanks for the pic. Photoshopped it into a sharp angle to see how it'd look. Looks pretty good either way.

F it. Plan to wrap the car anyways so I'll go with the sharp angle and if I don't like it I'll square off the edge when wrapping

Just picked up the hood and haven't even thrown the grill on so here's a crappy photo of it. The sharp angled edge for the side vents is growing on me

When you get a chance, try to take a picture full on from the front to get a sense of how different those sharp edges are.

Mine fit perfect.

As far as paint goes, my friend has a shop so it was significantly less than usual. He said normally shops charge 650-800 for this type of job.

I also realized I have to find a different spot for the aero catch pins I ordered because the gruppem intake is in the way of the hole everyone uses for the right side pin.

This thing looks gorgeous!!!
I am checking price with his hood now but just because i am from canada, shipping will be alot.
My car is wrap, so i will simply wrap the hood like how you did yours but i think i will enjoy its CF look for a 3 months before wrapping it.
By the way.. what grill are you refering to??

I sprayed a couple more layers of flat black on the grill that goes into the large center vent and installed it. It was at my house so when I picked up the hood it didn't have the grill installed on that pic up above.

Hit up @VividRacing I think he said there's a carbon and a frp available.
