So I am ready to get my first ever wheel/tire set up for my 2019 Blue Civic Si.

I have It lowered on eibach pro kit and has many performance upgrades so I need the car to hold the power down. (FWD SUCKS.. unless the snow is here)

I’m looking for some wheels that are dope looking, can handle the stress of high performance turns, and speeds. Also, if they’re light then that’s a bonus!

I know there is a rating system for the top speed a wheel is rated for, but on many websites I do not see it in the description of the wheel and or tire.

I’m currently looking at enkei rpf1’s and gram lights from rays.

I would like to spend under 400 a wheel.

For tires I’m looking at the INDY 500s but if you have other recommendations please share.

For colors I’m between white, gunmetal, or black.

Please post your set up, and how you like the performance and weight of them.

Also help me decide the color!

No offense, but you are building a lot of dust on your wheels and seem to opt for keeping the cleaning attention on the body. Gun metal color will mesh with that. Plus, chips (if painted) will be less visible with gunmetal contrast to the alloy.

If you are buying wheels and tires separate, I highly recommend cleaning and protecting the wheels before tire mounting.

I just completed a very laborious cleaning and rock chip removal for my black wheels. I imagine it is far easier to do on bare wheels. I've no affiliation: I highly recommend Chemical Guys JetSeal. IMO (and hope), the slick coating will reduce brake dust build-up and help it release without hard scrubbing.

Did you confirm that size will fit, especially being lowered? I don't know any better, just curious
I have EFP1s in 17x8. I love em. Simple spokes, they have sustained some spirited use and have not lost integrity. Very good reduction in weight vs stock. The increase in grip + responsiveness from going wider than stock is unreal. I cannot even imagine what another 1.5" would do for my drive if I had the width you're going after.

Can't go wrong with Enkei rpf1’s or any Volk/Rays. I am currently using the Indy 500 tires on my G37; I think they are rebranded Bridgestones. They aren't Michelins nor priced like them but a decent tire.

Haha yup, It just snowed up here in New York so we had some salt on the roads. I’ll get my wheels cleaned soon.

Yes I will definitely look into that. How much are you lowered? My springs only dropped an inch or so.

My suspension is stock. I couldn't get a definitive answer on clearances, so I just went with 8"

I just read through 35 pages of “post your aggressive wheel/tire set up” and these were some of my favorites I saw.
