GP Racing 17 inch rims from my last car vs. stock rims, also 17s. Keeping the GP racing wheels would involve swapping the tires over. I feel they are nice, but they look a little small on this car.

They honestly look like 15s because the spokes don't go to the edge of the rim. In this case, stock wins. Stay stock, get some 20mm spacers and call it a day.

They definitely look small and in this case, I'd probably go with the stock wheels until you find something to your liking.

I'm in Ottawa too! :D

That's exactly right. Say what you will about those stock 17's but they almost look like 18's because of the design.

The stock wheels look much better than those. GP's

I really didn't like the EX-T wheels at first but they've kinda grown on me. They reflect light very well,

I had wheels like those on my Veloster. They are nice but I agree they appear small, at least in the pics. I also like the stock wheels. Have an EXT coupe myself, but itching for an Si coupe.

thanks for the responses, i'll likely keep the stocks for now. I will add though, that the rubber on these wheels is a lower profile than the stock rubber so that makes the overall tire diameter look small and bizarre.

As this is a 2 dr Coupe, (not a 4 dr family car), and it looks more sporty than Sedan, if is for me, I will sell the GP and get a 18”.

It's funny how everyone is programmed these days that bigger is better or sportier. Truth is, a lightweight 17 with quality tires will offer better acceleration, braking and ride quality compared to a heavier 18. Cheaper too. On the other hand, 18's definitely look cooler.

Since OP has two 17” wheels, quoted “...look a little small...”, and also “...involve swapping the tires...”. If swapped, 17” is still 17” and still look the same. Save the cost/trouble of tyre swapping, just sell one of the 17”, top up a bit and upgrade to lightweight 18”. OP will has the best of both world and will be happy for life.
