I've been running D2 springs for about 10k miles and I put the stock springs back this weekend on to sell the car.
After completing the install I could hear Clunking noises from the front driver side suspension. At first I thought the sway bar came loose from the noise it made. I put it back on jacks and noticed the axle boot was ripped and there was a lot of grease. Everything else was still intact and it didn't sound to me like the noises were coming from the axle but could that be what's causing the sound? I put the D2 springs on with my friend and put the stock ones on myself so I definitely could of missed something but I did the same steps as all the videos on YouTube. The sound is most noticable on dips but even on a slight incline I heard the knocking. Any ideas or insight would be appreciated!!
Also, I cut the bump stops when I put the D2 springs and left the cut ones in when I put the stock ones back, should I get new ones?
