Hello, new to this forum and bought my first 2021 Civic Sport hatchback (5door?) then hit a deer at 27000 miles. Totaled the car, but I’m going to buy it back and fix it. However, gonna need some parts and have two initial questions. If anyone could help, that would be awesome.
First, car won’t run after hitting the deer. Is there a fuel inertia or cutoff switch?
Second, the electrical connector on the electronic waste gate controller was sheared off the solenoid. Anything 2019 and older is cheap, anything 20 and up is pricing a new turbo set-up. Any ways around this or will older year mode work?

also gonna be looking for some body parts, anyone know a good place.

Sorry this happened. I can't answer your questions, but I'm curious how much it costs to buy it back? And did they give you a fair price for it?

Those numbers are excellent!!! You made out - big time. Especially once you get it fixed and running, it'll be worth 15-20k. Probably closer to 20. 👍

Unless I'm missing something, did they really believe there was over 25k in damages?!?!? That's quite a loss they're taking by totaling it.

They deemed 19k in damage and availability of factory parts. Which I’ll use Car-part to find parts

I’ve got to figure out why it won’t stay running, the electrical pin for Wastegate is broke off giving me a code, but didn’t think that would stop it from running. Doesn’t on my diesels.

This is rather wild to me. I'm giving you a bump so you stay in the "recent" tab on the home page.
Ps: I would shorten the title. Something like: "HELP - CAR WONT RUN/WONT START," so people see it better. As per the attached screenshot, its very long

Appreciate it very much. Will do now.
Also, the joint assembly to turbo charger is broke, right at some vacuum lines. Going to remedy my this problem as well.

Is the code related to that? I wouldn't be surprised if that is the cause. I don't know what kind of issues it could cause running it that way.
