tryed this one on my 2016 civic EXL i just installed it and installed and didnt work (((

When you say it did not work, no video in motion, no mirroring, head unit was dead with the cable installed, installed but nothing changed still locked out?

no video in motion no mirroring head unit work like normal it is sad

i bet 2016 civic in asia does more than us version

I did install it and no way to install it wrong it one way to install style cable and i wish it worked only other

ugh yup looks like your right, too bad i didn't see your comment before i ordered mine. I can confirm it doesn't work on USA models, did you return yours?

No but i going to play with ideas. To see if i find a way to bypass with out cutting oem stuff and use that adapter

Have you been able to bypass this yet?

I just received my y socket cable and will try tomorrow to see if it works
