This thread serves to document all the parts I’ve found that are listed “hatch-specific” (TGG, TEA, TGH) but have US-domestic equivalents, often for a fraction of the cost.
For example, I ordered these headlight bumper brackets, and the price difference is $13 vs $117 at the time of writing. That’s insane! The only difference the hatch has is more casting / traceability markings.
Hatch Part: 71140-TEA-T00 71190-TEA-T00
Sedan Part: 71140-TBA-A00 71190-TBA-A00
Pictures as proof. I bolted them onto my headlights and car body with no issue, they are identical sans marking.
