Someone said his 2016 window sticker said 2017 ratings, if true I'd trust the window sticker over the website.

Someone said his 2016 window sticker said 2017 ratings, if true I'd trust the window sticker over the website.
But nothing changed mechanically. I asked an insider when this first happened and was informed of the difference being the 17 ratings. Which is unusual since most other manufacturers went down as a result. Mazda took a huge hit


I'll double check on Tuesday. My window sticker does say 2017 EPA for the 2016 so now I'm curious

Maybe the EPA test was adjusted a bit since 2016s got tested. Or Honda adjusted the CVT tuning slightly for 2017.

Definitely possible! I suppose also that even if it used a different LRR tire that could even make it get an extra mpg for city thus changing the mpgs. I'll find out lol

He also mentioned the EPA highway crossover took place at 74 mph instead of the normal 66-68, which clearly demonstrates under rating

Must be later builds...mine doesn't :hmm: I agree its unusual tho, nearly everything else went down at least 1 MPG highway
