Very cool! Love it! Do you think if you sleeved the springs they would be quieter? These are the kind of mods I'm into.
It may. I’ll have to see what I can use as a sleeve

do the springs have to pull toward the center of the car? could you do a camera view (with lighting) so we can see how the spring moves as it opens and closes?

Also I know you where joking around with that intro but honestly I don't think i've EVER used the remote to pop the trunk, I just have the smart key on me and the trunk opens when I touch the soft squishy part (Thats what she said????).

Edit: also possible sleeving idea, use Heater Core Hose, this can be bought by the foot at most autoparts stores.

I’ll try to get some video from the inside and also look into those type of sleeves.
