Grinding noise coming from what sounds like my brakes??!!?!!

So they didn't do anything about it? That's kind of strange. If it is happening only when you are applying the brakes, then it is likely rock/debris that is stuck between the rotors and pads. If it happens while driving and gets worse when speeding up, it could be the same thing, especially if the sound gets worse when applying the brakes.

Regardless, the dealer should be pin pointing the problem, not taking shots in the dark and sending you on your way. It could be a safety issue so you should get it resolved asap.
