From what I’ve seen, the damage happens when people remove the bumper/grill from the car.
It happens whether the bumper has been removed, or not.

My dealer has seen this issue many times, and their solution is to glue the pieces together. I'll get around to fixing mine one of these days.

Yes. Glue the pieces together so we can void your warranty. The dealers are so stupid. I went to the dealer and asked them about it and they said they would touch it because I had my clear side markers and Type R badge. ?

Ah ha so this is a common issue. It’s happening on mine as well. Not a biggy for me but was curious what was going on. Never removed bumper or did side markers. 2021 civic hatchback ex.
