I'd bet $900-$1100.

I have been doing some reading about MeisterR and their products being used on other cars, and have come away impressed. People seem to really like their coilovers. I am definitely in line for these.
That's what I'm hoping for!

At the moment, we are at the early stage of entering the USA market.
So for now, retail of the coilovers is set at $1250.
We are doing an initial offer of $995 delivered, so when the Civic coilovers goes into production I intend to keep that price for all the members.

We are going to stay under that magical $1000 delivered mark for sure on this first batch. :)

I have a feeling, you will sell a lot. And for sub-1k, I'll definitely pick up a set. I'm assuming it will be all 4 for 1k right? Because if so, 250 per corner is a really good price for performance coil-overs.

Yes, it will be complete bolt on to the car straight out of the box.
We try to keep our entry level suspension price sensible, because it's no good having great suspension that no one can afford.

I always had our suspension on cars that I own, from a MK2 Honda CRX with 180hp, to my R32 Nissan Skyline R32 GTR with 700hp.
I go by the motto that if it isn't good enough for me, it isn't good enough for any body.
So I always use what I offer because I find that you are always your worst critic, and I am pretty picky when it comes to my car. :D

Jerrick,

I would very much like to be apart of that group to test them out

Jerrick this is one of the many reasons I need coilovers; I look like a 4x4 next to the other civics!

Right, I am on it.
I'll keep everyone up to date, but so far looking promising.
Should be pretty straight forward, suspension look very similar to the Civic of the last few model.
We are just getting a spherical bearing front top mount made, as I feel it is necessary to have some degree of control over the front camber.

Chris, I can see what you mean.
We will get that wheel gap sorted. :)
Just note that I will put in as much lowering range as possible, up to the point that the suspension stop functioning correctly.
Because for MeisterR, we are a performance suspension specialist and that mean it is always Function & Safety > Form.

I will go so far until the suspension stop working correctly, because once you reach that point... you might as well cut your springs with an angle grinder; you end up with the same performance at less cost.
The good news is that Civic suspension looks like there are lots of room, so it should be fine.

Let me see if I can pull a set of two out of prototype, I can probably rush one over in 2 to 3 weeks time but no promises. (Don't like making promises I cannot keep)
But mass production will take a little longer, as I can't give the green light until I am happy with the prototype.

So if anyone is interested, and want to get coilovers on quick and give me some feedback.
I'll be happy to work something out.

Also, while I am here... anyone interested in Enkei wheels let me know. :)
I am the UK Enkei wheels distributor so we have a very good relationship with Enkei... and it is one of my favourite wheel brand.

Jerrick
With you being the distributor does that mean better deals on our end if we were interested in Enkei wheels and went through you to purchase?

Enkei USA have a pretty solid price structure in the USA.
However, I am pretty sure I will be able to beat any advertised prices members find. :)

So what I can say is find what you want, let me know the price, and I'll match it or beat it.
I may not beat it by much, but every little helps. ;)

Couple questions:
- Will you be releasing sample shock dynos specific to the CivicX platform?
- Are compression and rebound damping adjusted independently of one another, or together via a single adjuster?

We are probably not going to release specific damper dyno.
Our development dyno actually don't like doing these pretty looking graph, we spend a good day doing this.
Our dyno don't really save, and doesn't really print either; it is an Italian dyno, works great but don't do anything flashy.
So most of our dyno on file is just printed black and white paper with line all over the place.
When developing dampers, the main thing we need to see is the cracking pressure, curve shape, and peak force value at a few specific shaft velocity.
And a scan of those dyno wouldn't make sense to anyone.

On the ZetaCRD, they are compression and rebound combined adjustment.
What they call 1-way adjustable.
We will in the future do some 3-way adjustable for race application.

Generally speaking, 1-way is the all rounder base setup for fast road cars.
When you into 2-way (compression & rebound independent adjustable), you really need a damper dyno to dial it in.
And many time, i see owners who are not able to setup suspension correctly achieve poorer performance than a good one way suspension.

When will you be accepting preorders? Might go this route, I'm interested in a quality dyno tested solution under 1k.

Thanks

We can work something out, but generally I like to know it is all ready before i accept pre-order.
But we aren't far off either.
