Should've kept it as three tips or have the tips more closer together. Just looks weird with that space between the two tips.

Very strange, as I thought they had a 3 tip exhaust, just look at the photos in this article.
Or here from the same dealer.

Evasive said that they are finalizing the muffler design and that one is a prototype. I wish they kept it the same as the prototype muffler.

That explains it. Me too I like their 3 tip design. But something better is coming from Sequence Manufacturing! Look here
