The bad thing is, most of the time if it gets hit hard enough for the airbag to deploy on these cars then it costs too much to repair, regardless how old it is. Costs of parts and repairs are INSANE.
Plus, these days, the wait to even get some of those parts could be loooooong.

Yeah. My bags didn't deploy, these cars are made of cheap plastic and thin metal. I went and got the rest of my stuff out of it along with my tower brace. They had the bumper cover off and pretty well torn down. There was a lot more damage. The black plastic intake was cracked, the intake box was trashed, the ECU was cracked off its mounting bracket, the CVT case had a hole about the size of a nickel in it about 3 inches to the right of the fill hole. May have been from the intake box mount possibly. It looked like the engine was pretty intact. I forgot to take pics, dammit. The front ends on these are not meant to hit something over 5mph, or I imagine lots of damage will occur.

My car had over 128k miles, still on original brake pads too.
Wait what, how is that even possible? Almost only highway driving? Did you ever use your brakes? :D

I thought if brake pads last for 50k miles it's already pretty good.

Lol, yes, mostly highway miles probably 90% or more. The brake pads, search me. I've never had them last more than 30k. But, my last car was a 99 Civic.

Congrats, what a beautiful car. Requesting more photos.
Thank you! This came out pretty good. The touring edition is very nice. It's the first car I've owned with a leather interior.

Car definitely is totaled. My guess for this would be 10-12k. I already been in a few accidents in my si and the insurance papers have always exceeded 3k. My most expensive one was on the passenger side for a scape and side camera replacement and that ended up at $7k.
i had 11k worth of repairs done to my rear of car when i was hit from behind, i was expecting it to be totaled but they fixed it.
