I believe that issue has been resolved

That's great! Last I checked some had their cars replaced and some had to take it back several times for different procedures.

I don't really follow the VW world, so other than an airbag and electric sliding door motor being changed, I've never had an issue in more than 25 years of years of owning Toyota's (and 1 Honda)

I would rather take reliability over performance.

That’s very true when my brother bought his mustang GT in 1986 he said he couldn’t see using the car as a daily driver so he bought other cars and left he mustang in the garage and used it occasionally now at 34 years old never saw snow rain and always had a cover and fluid changes with 8,500 miles on it

Yes that is his mustang every thing on that car even today is from 1986 accept the fluids even the wiper blades
