Goin out to sea for 2-ish months. anyone use sta-bil before?

topic says it all. Is sta-bil a safe treatment for the fuel? Or is there another i should use?

Sta-bil works well. I think it's also best to fill your tank full to reduce the amount of air/moisture present.

Good to know man! i appreciate you! you mean top off like tap the handle a bit after it auto shuts off??

I just meant the normal full amount. A little bit of air won't hurt anything, especially w/ the treatment.

I use it annually when the summer car goes into hibernation for the winter.
Just pour in the appropriate amount for the tank capacity, fill the tank until the pump clicks off and Bob is your uncle.
