Hey CivicX Fam!
I recently replaced my OEM front sway bar end links with the more beefy Whitelines. While working on the install I realized that I had my coilovers on the wrong sides. That explains how the OEM ones when from 1 piece to several pieces since the coilover came into contract with the actual end links. Here's what was left of the OEMs:
I essentially had a sway bar connected on one side only with all the suspension components mostly non-functional from the backwards installation. I just wanted to put the information out there that there are a left and right side to coilovers which I did not know. It'll save you from having the same issue as me and having to replace them even though aftermarket sway bar end links are recommended to accommodate the new struts.
Here are how they are supposed to be versus what I had on before swapping them to the correct side:
New
Old
Also the actual front sway bar itself does not look like a fun install since you must drop the subframe. Anyone with the coupes swap the front sway bar? Objectively did you notice a huge improvement? (The base models have a smaller sway bar than all the others I think?)
Thanks all!
