Hi all,

Ive been trying to search the forums for wheel fitment clearing the brembos from the genesis and understand that aggresive fitment will most likely be the best for not needing spacers, but wheel design is my problem.

Ive ordered the Brembos for the front and am wondering if anyone has ran Enkei NT03s 18x9.5+40 on them and if they needed spacers. They are concave which is my big concern.

Pics with anyone with nt03s running spacers would be great (even if it doesnt have bbk).

Thanks,
John

I owned a set of Genesis Brembos for some time. Difficult wheel fitment is the main reason I got rid of them. I can't say much about those Enkei's but can tell you the more flat faced the wheel is, the better luck you will have. I ended up with Konig Ultraforms.

I have similar wheel design to those, but 18x8.5. I did not clear and I have +35 offset. I’m using a 3mm spacer for bare minimum clearance. More than likely you will not clear also, these Brembo calipers are no joke lol not small at all

Slim chance they will fit since you mentioned a Concave face, but just wait and see. If anything, seek out some 3-5mm spacers. Garageline, and H&R are reputable brands. You should have enough threads to mount the wheels with up to 7mm spacers before requiring longer studs.

Here's my Konig Freeforms 18x8.85 +35 with 5mm spacers to make it +30

I actually had to run a 3mm spacer with the Ultraforms. No poke though. 18x8.5 + 35 if I recall correctly.

Yeah thats what i am expecting might test fit my brothers spacers from his Z to soo how much poke 9.5 will be. And doesnt the small size spacers need the OE studs trimmed as well?

Only time you trim studs is when you run a spacer with it’s own studs and the stock wheels studs poke through the spacer and doesn’t let the wheel sit on the hub/rotor.
I feel like a +40 with 9.5 wheel width and a +5 spacer won’t be too too bad. It might have some poke but not by much. Anything more than 5mm I’m sure will require fender rolling for sure and poke for sure. Have you looked into similar design wheels with a smaller width maybe at least 18x9?

Let us know the results, I currently have the same spec Enkei NT03 and looking into either this brake setup or the wilwood 4 piston kit that two step performance offers.

If you want ease of use 27won, buddy club, stop tech, wilwood, etc are the way to go. If you want headaches Brembo BBK is the way to go lol

You are limited to wheel choices, but wouldn't call it a headache because every component does bolt on easily and work well. I track my car, the brakes have performed very well :)

If you want guaranteed clearance seek out OEM wheels that have BBK's behind them. Any factory wheel will offer ample clearance, for example here's my new to me BBS RG406 that were on a Mitsubishi Evo X. I test fitted them before sending them to get refinished and had nearly an inch of clearance because they are flat-face wheels. 5x114.3, 18x8.5 ET38, 18lbs Forged wheels made by BBS Japan

Thanks for all the replies guys not sure how to reply all but thanks!

From what ive been reading i may need like a but less than 10mm but i guess we will see this weekend. I have been looking at wheels but i just put these back on with brand new tires 2 weeks ago.. So i really wanted to keep this setup.

Attached is what my setup is now so adding 10mm or 20mm might be too crazy.. tires are a bit streched though so maybe it wont be too bad.
