While driving my type R I’m able to remove the gear into neutral without using clutch pedal. Never done this on any other manual cars i owned, other cars usually have some resistance or make a loud grinding noise when you attempt to remove the gear without depressing clutch pedal. Has any one experienced this yet or is this normal on new model manuals?

I've been able to do that with every manual transmission I have had (Ford Probe, Saturn SW1, Honda Element & Civic Si).

I find that it's easiest to move into neutral just after getting off the throttle.
No pressure on the gear engagement ... so that just a nudge of the stick will put it into neutral.

Normal on a manual, but really easy on this car for some reason. You can even shift it back into gear if you do it at the right RPM. First time I did it I sat there questioning my reality too.

If you match the speed of the engine to the speed of the transmission, you can shift without using the clutch pedal. I would not do it on purpose though.
