Moving to a new house with a garage!!! I have plans on coating/covering the floor. I'm not sure if I want to use epoxy or tiles.

Anyone with experience in this? What coatings did yall use?

Thanks

From what I've been reading, it's like painting. Preparation is the key. Luckily, I have access to a floor buffer. Scrubbing should be easier with it. I'll need a little bit of practice relearning the rhythm of using one though

I have seen both as I service the wealthy. Epoxy may be the best though, very durable and very easy to clean up spills.

I've got nothing but good things to say about my epoxy floor coating. Wiping up oil is a breeze. Tiles seem like a pain in the ass. I paid a professional to do mine, since I don't have nearly enough patience to do it on my own.

EDIT: I will say that the previous owners of my house did a shit job on a DIY epoxy coating, and it flaked off always leaving little bits of coating EVERYWHERE. If you're patient and think you can do a good job, more power to you.
